About Gates

Gates, Oregon is located 35 miles east of Salem, Oregon capital.  Gates population is approximately 500 with a rural population of 3,000-5,000.
Gates is a small country community with good local schools.  Gates is only two hours to the Oregon coast and only an hour to the ski slopes.  Gates is also on the way to one of Oregon's favorite lakes, Detroit Lake.
